The question of “legitimate” circumstances divorce was recently posed to me by a friend. While the reasons for asking this are not important, the question arose from three seeming contradictory passages. The first passage regards the Torah’s perspective on divorce. The following post is drawn from a paper provided by a friend. He is a member of a traditional Jewish community but has expressed considerable tolerance and in interest in our discussions. He provided this and noted that in his view, the overwhelming majority of those in any way affiliated with Messianic Judaism, are in large part reflective of the fictitious Cardinal Lustinger the paper is drawn from.
